TORONTO-Music Heals was held at Massey Hall for the Camp Trillium's Kids with Cancer foundation. Freddy said, "It was a great gig and a great band. Steve and I had a blast."

dreamers road
In 1994, Freddy released his first solo record, Dreamer's Road. A large portion of the tracks was originally slated to appear on a fully completed Alias 2 project. Unfortunately, the musical climate had turned away from the heavier rock acts and with it Roger Fisher, Steve Fossen, and Michael Derosier. Without the three former Heart members, EMI re-worked the record and took the opportunity to showcase some of Freddy’s vocal versatilite'.

Freddy once again teamed up with his musical partner Steve DeMarchi—they seized the opportunity to combine different styles and utilized the talents of Abraham Laboriel, Marco Mendozza, Carlos Vega, Larry Aberman, Mike Baird, Kevin Savigar, Jim Lang, Robert O'Hearn, C.J. Vanston, Brook M Lizotte, Debra Dobkin, and fellow Canuck Alanis Morissette! Rick Neigher, who produced the Alias CD, was once again back at the wheel.

An impromptu re-make of the classic Van Morrison song "Brown Eyed Girl" finalized the sessions and album. Despite having garnered two hit singles, "Brown Eyed Girl and Dreamer's Road," Dreamer’s Road never made its way to America, (doesn't this story ring similar to the Sheriff Bio?)

"Dreamers Road" went #1 all across Canada
